Texas Chair Project
Austin Museum of Art
Fall 2008
Texas artist Damian Priour created 100 miniature chairs of glass and fossil-imbedded limestone and will mail them to 100 Texas artists, asking them to send him back one chair of their own making in return. The final Texas Chair Project will be on view at AMOA fall 2008.

Jimmy Kuehnle won a Fulbright Full Grant for study and research in Japan for 2007/2008. He made contact with Imai Kinro at Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music in Nagoya, Japan, where he will produce a new body of work directly influenced by his experiences in Japan and with the Japanese people. His research will examine public and installation art in an eastern context.
