As I packed my inflatable suits, the weather report did not look good.  Since I have no power to change the weather, I got in the car and drove to the Detroit Metro Airport.   After arriving in San Antonio, I rented a car to drive to Apache Pass in Rockdale, Texas.  <\/p>\n<p>Rain thoroughly soaked the grounds of Apache Pass.  The roads were rutted mud pits waiting to gobble up unsuspecting vehicles.  After setting up camp and getting a bit to eat the sky remained dark.  I decided to explore the grounds for places to go in my inflatable suits and to see the other exhibits and performers.  <\/p>\n<p>The next morning did not look promising with an even coat of gray clouds hanging in the sky.  I performed twice with <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jimmykuehnle.com\/performance\/big_red\/big_red.php\">Big Red<\/a><\/em> and <em>You Wear What I Wear<\/em>.  The grounds gave me plenty of space to stomp around in the suits.   <\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, Sunday started with rain.  What would have been another fun day of performing, music and exhibits turned into a scramble to clean up in a mucky mess.  In the end I had a good time and people enjoyed the suits.
